IIf I set up a vista/linux dual boot system on my new laptop, and subsequently need to re-install vista, will the vista recovery disks that came with the laptop be sufficient or do I need to buy a separate full vista installation disk? I'm worried that the recovery disks will blast the linux partition. Jonathan

Then it/they will restore the entire hard drive to the state it was in when it was delivered to you. Not only will all files be wiped out, all partitions that you may have created for other OSes and their swap files and data will be erased as well. I wiped out a dual-booted Ubuntu install- ation that way. I assume that the situation is similar with other OEMs. *TimDaniels*
