Services won't start
I have several services that are set to start automatically that don't
start. These include the Windows Audio Service and the DHCP service.
They work perfectly well if I start them manually! Any idea how to get
them to start automatically?

The Startup Type is set to "Automatic" but they must be started
manually.

This same msg was posted on 04-05-2007 but I cannot find an answer.
Please help.

Re: Services won't start
Hi,

If the startup type is set to automatic, go to the recovery tab and set the
first and second failures to restart the service.

When I reported the problem, both 1st and 2nd failures were already set
to "restart the service". So this isn't the answer. Thanks anyway. I
hope someone else has the solution.

I am using McAfee antivirus. Does it do something it shouldn't be doing
with services flags on re-boot? How would I test for it? How would I
know?
