So what? I was addressing a situation in which someone buried a
keystroke logger in a proprietary dll. That's not so easy with software
compiled from open source code.
And who really knows what is inside Vista? One thing we do know is that
users must remain tethered to a license server on the Internet, or else
Vista will gradually disable itself. Are you comfortable with that? Do
you trust Microsoft (along with OEMs like Lenovo) to keep their own
people, as well as government entities and corporate partners, from
abusing their power? I don't. If that makes me a crackpot, too bad.
