Hi, I have a very small problem on a MSI motherboard running under Vista Home Premium (SP1). When the machine returns from "Sleep" or "Hibernate" the drive LED stays on permanently. Nothing I can do will return it to the normal 'on and off' state except a reboot. There are no other problems so I can live with this but would rather not. Any ideas? May be this is normal as I think I have seen it on another machine running under XP. TIA - Joe
I have the same problem on my Vaio VGN-Z11VN/B, but it resolved when I reinstalled windows vista (I needed to upgrade to 64 bits anyway). This might indeed indicate a driver problem.
