Yes you can run lost planet in DX9 but he said in his post DX10 wont ::Initialize when he tries to run the game in DX10 mode. It wont ::::Initialize because the card he uses is not DX10. So it does matter. Also try turning off all the visual bells and whistles on vista. IE switch to best performance vs. best appearance. 2 GB of ram is kinda skimp on vista consider upgrading to 3 or 4. I went with vista 64 and use 8GB of RAM. I run one care, steam, x- fire, and animated backgrounds it sucks up about 2.5 GB with out running anything useful. So consider more mem or turn stuff off.:: -- jonnyredbeard
