Most games these days have an option to install for "all users" during
setup. Typically it is checked by default.
Does the game work on another account? It may be an issue the game has with
the 'guest' account, which is locked down slightly more than a typical
standard user account.

Hi Paul Smith
Yes the game works on the guest account, like I say it is just annoying when
you activate the account and the disk is in the drive the stupid thing tries
to install and then says hang on a sec its already installed, and stops
trying to install it.
