Very bizzard that this simple change cant b done in a patch. I heard else where on the net ppl saying 2k/Fraxis replied to mails that they dont plan to make it compatible with Vista. Needless to say found this very useful link, that sorted it out for me on Vista x64 with 4Gb of RAM.
