I am new to Mahjong Titans and found this forum and your question/comments when I went hunting for the rules. I think all the games are winnable. I've won four so far, different board layouts. I think I finally figured out that I have to remove the tiles that are stacked first. When you watch the bottom of the board, you'll notice that when you remove a match on top of stacked tiles, it either increases the number of matches available or stays the same. So, you're reducing the number of tiles on the board and have enough matches available to clear the board. I hope this make sense. I haven't mastered this game by any means.
