I cannot get Oblivion to work on my Vista Ultimate x64 either, I have the latest video drivers, and the latest updates from Microsoft. I have tried all the compatibility settings individually, and in groups. I have tried it with UAC on and off with all the compatibility settings. I don't know what else to do. I have emailed Bethesda and their response is that they don't support Vista x64. I have even tried running the game without Sli, but alas, still no Oblivion... I also have the latest game patch too. Vista x64 has run great on my machine, the only problem I have ever encountered was with my wireless card, but I went and bought the new N network card and router and have not a problem since, until this game. System Specs: No overclocking has been done. (file found at Users\[username]\Documents\My Games\Oblivion) Run the game again. If you carried any game settings over from a prevous OS install, making oblivion re-detect everything again helps in this area.
