hi i was playing oblivion and i went to push the console button (~) to enter a cheat but it wont let me can anyone help me to figure out what i have to do so it will let me? ty -- please help me
Is there an option you have to set before starting the game, to allow the developers console? I can't remember its been a while since I played that game. Still got the thieves guild to do!

I use the console all the time. Commands like TDT to see the framrate are awesome for performance tweaking. But I digress. Go Documents ->My Games->Oblivion and open Oblivion.INI Look for the line: bAllowConsole=0 and change it to bAllowConsole=1 The `/~ key now works. Cheat away.
