Running Command and Conquer 3 on Vista?   

Im having trouble running it on my vista computer and have a Nvidia
8800m GT card installed. 

The error tells me I need to make sure I have the newest DirectX
installed and to make sure that my display settings disable hardware
acceleration. Help?

I have run c&c3 with no problems at all using vista64 ultimate and i
know several others that have not had a problem.

Download that. It will run fine with DX10, and perhaps that is what is the 
problem?
