I need some help installing a program. Whenever i try to open it a
pop-up comes up saying

"The instruction at 0x0047237b referenced memory at 0x00000000. The
memory could not be read."

can anyone help me to fix this?

No one can help you with so little information. What is the Mystery Program?
Is it Vista-compatible? Have you checked with the program's tech support
and/or user forums (if any)?

Re: "The instruction at 0x0047237b" Error?
What program are you trying to install? Is it already on your computer and
you are trying to update? Has it ever been on your computer?
What Operating System are you using? Vista (which version)? XP? Other?
If Vista: are you running as a user? a user/administrator? an administrator?
How much memory do you have?
Give as much detail as you can to get help or people won't bother to work
with you.
