This just started happening, perhaps in the last few days. I just want explorer to show the double clicked folder or drive in the same window, same as if I right click 'explore' on a folder item. These are the things I've tried so far: 1) Control Panel -> Folder Options -> Open each folder in the same window 2) Uninstall all software installed in the last week (except nVidia driver and Internet Explorer 8 beta 2). Will uninstall these as soon as I can reboot. 3) Downloaded ShellExView (shexview) and disabled every explorer extension except 2 that are required to run explorer at all. 4) Ran Regedit and checked HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell and HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell for value other than 'none' Please help if you can. A Google search shows a few people with the same issue but no working solutions. Post Originated from http://www.VistaForums.com Vista Support Forums
