folder contents open on desktop- can't close
While I was away, my mother was using my computer and now there is a pane
open on my desktop showing the contents of one of my desktop folders. I
can't figure out how to close it. I can expand and shrink it, but there is
nothing to allow me to close it. I don't know how it got like that. I've
tried restarting my computer, right clicking in the pane, opening the folder
again to see if there was anything I could reset there..nothing is working.
I hope someone can tell me how to close this. Thanks.

Re: folder contents open on desktop- can't close
When you have clicked in the folder to make it active, can you press the
Alt key and the F4 function key simultaneously, and maybe that will at
least close it. As to why there would be no close (X) button in the
window, I don't know...
