Hi everyone, The folder template scheme in Vista is intriguing: always remember pictures as extra large, docs as list, etc ... So here's the next question: can you specify which file types qualify as a picture or a doc. Thanks! -- febbert
Hi Febbert, No you can not, but Method Two in this tutorial will show you how to have Vista remember your folder view settings for when the window was last closed. It will set all windows with the "Details" view unless you specify something different in step 20. This will also stop Vista from automatically changing the folder template based on the file types in the window. http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/70819-windows-explorer-folder-view-settings.html Hope this helps, Shawn febbert;777723 Wrote: > Hi everyone, > > The folder template scheme in Vista is intriguing: always remember > pictures as extra large, docs as list, etc ... > > So here's the next question: can you specify which file types qualify > as a picture or a doc. > > Thanks! -- Brink *There are no dumb questions, just the people that do not ask them.* '*VISTA FORUMS*' (http://www.vistax64.com) *Please post feedback to help others.*
