Re: Upgrade SP1 Eval to Licensed Edition with hotfix 954049 instal
I have managed to upgrade the evaluation license, so I thought I would share
my experience. I reproduced the issue in virtual machines and after testing a
few scenarios, the easiest solution was for me to introduce a new eval
management server into the existing management group. I then promoted this
server to the RMS. I ran the upgrade on the eval RMS server which also
upgraded the database. Once this was complete, I made the existing licensed
server the RMS and removed the eval server from the management group.
