How to disable a lot of monitoring settings in sealed pack   

1. Is there an easy way to disable a lot of monitoring settings in a 
management pack?  We want to disable a whole category but the problem is 
that a category can have thousando of settings.

2. how can we get a report of all the settings and their status (enable or 
disable) of a management pack, including the overrides?
