Errors and Warnings in Active Alerts After Deploying Agents
Hi,

I had deployed agents to 4 DC's and 1 SQL server this afternoon. I had
initially encountered errors in the realtime monitoring section after
deploying the agents to 2 of the DC's and the SQL server. Then I remembered
that Anders had advised that the local system account should be used for the
agents to perform their functions.

I had then re-installed the agents to the 4 DC's and SQL server. The errors
were reduced to the following:
  - Agent proxying needs to be enabled for a health service to submit
discovery data about other computers coming from the SCOM server on
deployment of agents.
  - The SQL Server Service Broker or Database Mirroring transport is
disabled or not configured coming from MSSQLSERVER on day of installation.
  - Data Warehouse failed to request a list of management packs from SQL RS
server from the SCOM server on day of installation.
  - Performance Module could find a performance counter from SCOM server on
day of installation.

There are more warning messages though:
  - Script Based Test Failed to Complete from the 4 DC's on the deployment
of the agents.
  - Script or Executable failed to run from the SQL server and SCOM server
on the deployment of the agents.
  - Backward Compatibility Script Error from SCOM server on the deployment
of the the agents.
  - WMI Probe Module Failed Execution from SCOM server on the deployment of
the agents.
  - SDK SPN Not Registered from SCOM server on/after day of installation.
  - Operational Data Reporting failed from SCOM server on/after day of
installation.

Any feedback/suggestions on how the error and warning messages could be
effectively eliminated would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Mohammed Noor

Hi Mohammed,

That is a couple of different issues, have you tried search this news group?
Think most of them already have threads.

for the SDK issue http://wchomak.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!F56EFE25599555EC!824.entry

for your reporting related issues, make sure that all your service account
has correct permissions.

Hi Anders,

I have finally managed to find some time to work on the issue and found the
KB at the following URL to be very helpful:
