In the past week, my OnePoint database (MOM 2005) has corrupted twice after failing over to the other SQL Server 2005 Cluster Node. Any ideas as to what may be causing this? Any help is appreciated. Thank you. - Unable to find anything in the Event Logs that may be causing the corruption, other than the events where the MOM DAS account cannot find - My in-house SQL DBA has created a new SQL Server 2005 database, imported the OnePoint data and MOM has been functional until the SQL Cluster active node has to be failed over to the passive node. Because this is has occurred (possibly coincidentally) when the nodes are failed over, this may be a cluster issue altogether.
Hi elizabeth, In what way do you know the OnePoint db is corrupt? Is MOM configure to talk to the virtual node in the cluster and not only one node? -- Anders Bengtsson Microsoft MVP - Operations Manager Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) http://www.contoso.se > In the past week, my OnePoint database (MOM 2005) has corrupted twice > after failing over to the other SQL Server 2005 Cluster Node. After corruption, MOM can't communicate with the OnePoint database (ie. unable to connect to the MOM Management Servers when opening the Admin/Operator Consoles) and the OnePoint database cannot be expanded or detached/reattached in the SQL Server Management Studio. MOM is also configured to talk to the virtual node of the cluster. That hasn't changed since MOM was installed early last year.
