Failed to process Windows Event Log alert
Dear Microsoft,

I was surprised to see the most common alert in my reports being "Failed to
process Windows Event Log" when I never saw this alert. I realized that it
was because the system event log was corrupt on one of my servers. The
Operations Manager agent kept retrying to access the event log, but it would
reset the alert. Therefore the alert was auto-resolved to close every 12
minutes. I just happened to catch one of these events before it
auto-resolved. I will turn off auto-resolve, but isn't this a bug?

Re: Failed to process Windows Event Log alert
Hi mj,

Dont sound like a bug, that report is showing the most common alerts, and
if you have a rule or monitor that loops and generates a lot of them, then
the report will be affected. But I can understand your though too.
