Where can I get a good explanation of what the keywords are for in the EXD config ? I'm also interested in how I can modify them on the EXD server and have them be persistent. I have updated the ServerLocation value but when I restart EXD it gets overwritten. Thanks
The keywords represent the settings available in the configuration GUI. Each change in the GUI will rewrite the configuration on the EXD box, so it is not recommended that you change them locally and therefore they are not documented. Please tell me more. I tried using exportconfig.exe as shown in the Engyro doc but it fails C:\Program Files\Engyro\Engyro OpsMgr 2007 to TEC Product Connector>"C:\Program Files\Engyro\Engyro OpsMgr 2007 to TEC Product Connector\exportconfig.exe" -expo rt PRODOPSMGR1-TEC "C:\temp" 531 [1] DEBUG Engyro.MCMapping.MCMap (null) - Couldn't find: \logging.properties 562 [1] DEBUG Engyro.MCMapping.MCMap (null) - Using BasicConfigurator instead. error: could not retreive PRODOPSMGR1-TEC It seems more could be said about the epc and exportconfig tools. logging.properties is a file that exists in the same dir as exportconfig. You must specify the name of your connector in place of PRODOPSMGR1-TEC (should be "<servername>-TEC" ).
