installing kerbsubauth and difference between kerberos and msv1_0
I am simply trying to install kerbsubauth example provided by platform sdk.
I compiled (in command line) with VC 2008 Express. I have a domain
controller windows 2003 R2 running as a virtual machine. I copied the dll
into system32 folder edited the registry tried many combinations like adding
Auth0, Auth134, Auth255 to Kerberos and also MSV1_0. But I see no log
printed as c:\\lastlog.txt. What I am missing ???

Also, I did not get the difference between usage of Kerberos and MSV1_0. I
know kerberos is a distributed authentication system but as far as I see in
documentation MSV1_0 also provides network authentication through netlogon.
So, which one does windows platform using (by default) ? Does it depend on
versions ? When I check the event viewer I see I am using Kerberos, so
MSV1_0 is only used for local logons ?

Thank you very much.
