RE: Application icon in Security Warning dialog
Hi Jason,
Regarding on your description, you've digitally signed an setup program and
found that when running it on Vista, the security warning dialog will
display its certificate via a general Icon. You wonder whether this Icon
can be customized, correct?
Based on my experience, this Icon should be different from the
application's Icon and might be associated with the certificate's
properties. I'll do some further research on this and let you know if I get
any further information.
Sincerely,
Steven Cheng

RE: Application icon in Security Warning dialog
Hi Jason,
Sorry for the late response. After some further research and consulting
some windows Vista engineers, there seems hasn't any opened interface for
us to change the warning icon(display in UAC prompt) in our application's
program code or resource. This icon is used by the system and separated
from Application's Icon.
Sincerely,
Steven Cheng
