Using Ginastub orginal Gina Dialog not accepting Smartcard PIN
Hi Group,

I've got a very strange problem with my ginastub. I'm using the gina
only to report the login status (card inserted, pin entered / correct /
incorrect, login complete) to a windows service. I've gotten quite far
with my task. The first real problem was that the ginastub did'nt
detect the card insertion on winxp SP2. I fixed that. Now I've got a
new problem for which I can't find a solution ANYWHERE. When I insert
the card (which is correctly reported) the Pin Dialog of the original
msgina.dll appears. I then enter my cards Pin. But after I press enter
the Pin just disappears again and absolutely NOTHING happens (the gina
function does not return and now error messages appear on the screen).
I can't login to my card. Deactivating my gina in the registry solves
that problem of course. So login with that speficic card is no
problem. Also the card is not locked if I enter the Pin 3 times with
my own gina. So the orginal gina doesn't seem to use the card at all.
What am I mising here? ANY help is MUCH appreciated!
