http://www.microsoft.com/technet/network/ipv6/ipv6faq.mspx mentions that ------- Windows Server 2003 contains the following: IPv6-enabled versions of the Ipconfig, Ping, Tracert, Pathping, Netstat, and Route commands File and print sharing over IPv6 using site-local addresses -------- But I don't know how to do IPv6 file share in Windows 2003 R2. I have tried to input "\\fec0...\" and "\\fec0-.....ipv6-literal.net\" in "start"->"run", but none works. Any comment?

It works that way under Vista and Windows 2008 Server. But I haven't tested 2k3 yet as I've been busy with DHCPv6, globalnames DNS zones, etc. Also, you could enter names in your hosts file. File sharing definitely does not work with XP so if that's what you're using for a client then it won't work. Vista definitely works, though. -Gary
