The MSDN guide on transitioning an application to IPv6 talks about dual sockets required on XP SP1 and Server 2003, and dual layer available on Vista. What about XP SP2? Is there a reason why the article skips mention of SP2?

Two sockets are needed as in SP1 and 2003. -- Rémi Denis-Courmont http://www.remlab.net/

But this is a high level view so it is imprecise. > Vista. What about XP SP2? Is there a reason why the article skips > mention of SP2? XP SP2 IPv6 support is better or on par with XP SP1.
