IPv6 and Ping6
Hi-

I have a problem that I just can't seem to figure out. I have 2 machines
both with IPv6 installed and Teredo installed properly. Just for kicks the
addresses are

2001:0:53aa:64c:0:1044:b46e:e80a and
2001:0:53aa:64c:4af:78f8:a97b:505b

Machine 1 is in US running XP
Machine 2 is in England runnning Vista

When pinging between the machines our success varies wildly from immediate
replies to timeouts. I can ping and get 4 replies, ping again and get 4
timeouts. I even bumped up the timeout to 5000 ms and it doesn't make a
difference. Incidently we seem to have better success pinging from England
to US.

As point of reference I ping between my machine and another machine in the
US, no problems and very consistent replies.

Is there any reason our results vary so much? Do one or both of use have a
configuration problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Teredo is not reliable behind non-BEHAVE-conformant NAT devices.
