Runtime Drawing an image on the browser
Hello All,
How can I draw an image on the browser during runtime (like I would use a DC
in a desktop application?)
I would be wanting to use the Visual C++ ISAPI dlls for this purpose.
Has anyone donethis? Please help. If possible could you show a code snippet?
Thanks you so very much
Srishti

RE: Runtime Drawing an image on the browser
Hi Srishti,

ISAPI programming(extension or filter) doesn't cover this kind of client
side displaying scenarios. With server side ISAPI code, we can only perform
tasks like: retrieving JPG images from other sources(file, database or
gdi+, etc) and simply send them to brower clients via standard http format.
Of course, we may be able to do some dynamic transformation via JavaScript
and CSS filters but this is out of the scope of ISAPI as well.

To sum up, what you are looking for is a client side programming. If CSS +
JavaScript isn't enough to achieve your goal. You may consider some more
advanced client side technologies like Silverlight:

Thanks.

Sincerely,
