Problems accessing ADS from Unix with ldapmodify
Hi
I have working integrated ADS and Samba environment where ADS is used to
authenticate all the Windows users.

I now want to use the ldapmodify utility to query the ADS, but I obviously
need to use a mode which requires strict binding. I created a specific user
in ADS for this access. However, when I use DIGEST-MD5, I get an "Invalid
credentials (49)" error. (All of the modes produce errors).

To validate the test, I used LDP.EXE, running on the ADS node itself, and
selected "DIGEST" for the bind operation. It also failed with the same
error.

I would appreciate any pointers as to whats required to bind.

Thanks in advance
