DC load
Hello,

We have Win2003 domain (not in NT4 compatibility mode) with 2 DCs, which are
pretty weak machines: Win2003 PIII/512 MB. We set up child domain with 1 DC
and 100 user accounts. We intend to do load testing: those child domain
users will run scripts to connect to file-servers in the parent domain. I'm
not concened about load on file-servers. However, I'm concerned about load
on DCs in the parent domain: which will be doing pass-thru authentication
during network logons (when the child domain users logon to file-servers in
the parent domain). Is my understanding correct: will the parent domain DCs
experience heavy load during network logons by users in the child domain?

Thanks,
Boris
