Offline files problem
I have laptops in my school that teachers use. What they get is controlled
by the server(me) but can work at home using offline files when they logon to
the domain.
Recently one of them asked if he could use the laptop independently and do
what he wanted. I did this by creating a local user on the laptop with admin
permissions and he now logs on to 'this computer'.
When in school I have mapped drives etc so they can still use resources on
the server and also synced their own folders.
The problem is that at home, when logged on to the computer he can see the
files but cannot open them, but when logged on to the domain all is well.
Can there be only one sync access or is there a way round this?
