Server was unable to process request. --> String was not recognized as a valid DateTime.
Hi,

I've got a strange problem when I'm returning a DataSet through one of my
WebService methods (ExecuteReaderWS(string commandText)): It returns the
above exception at:

[SoapException: Server was unable to process request. --> String was not
recognized as a valid DateTime.]

System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClient
Message message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean
asyncCall) +1501
   System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke(String
methodName, Object[] parameters) +218

Where's that coming from? I'm adressing a SQL Server 2000 database.

I don't know, but is it an error to use SMALLDATETIME columns in SQL Server?

Your quick reply is quite appreciated!

TIA,
Axel Dahmen
