I dont know if this is of any help to you, but I had the same issue. However, I originally had the 'PreAuthenticate' property of the Render service set to 'True'. When this was changed to 'False', the error disappeared. I had read somewhere that the SOAP error can be caused by the header information being read more than once, and thought that this may fix the issue - it certainly did with mine.
