how can i get stops to become pushpins?
If you just opened a new map point document and used route planner to just
add addresses, let's say you had 50 addresses and you did not have time to
create an excel sheet, and you just inputted the addresses in the box above
"Add to Route," do you realize that after you input the addresses and click
the Add to Route button that after the addresses are on the map, you can't
select all the stops and change them to pushpins? do you also realize that
you can't export the data to excel, if let's say you wanted to do that?

I found this out, and it was very frustrating because I was given a long
list and was asked to do it asap...so I didnt have time to do the excel
spreadsheet and thought that I could later export to excel...that really was
disappointing.

Any ideas on this??

"Think before you leap" comes to mind. Spending a few seconds
beforehand checking that your planned process actually works (*) would
have saved you valuable time. In general, MapPoint is a "one way"
application - it turns data into maps, but (usually) not the other way
'round.

Never use MapPoint as your sole data container, always keep (or
create) a copy of the data (spreadsheet, CSV file, Access MDB,
database table ...) in its original form, and consider that the source
data.
