RE: MapPoint Walking Directions
Amine,

MWS doesn't supports walking directions, although it may be something
possible through the Mappoint 2006 CD product (something like 'setting up
trails' if I remember). If your interested you can post a request on the
Mappoint (CD) newsgroups at:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.mappoint&lang=en&cr=US&mid=37945fc6-aca3-4183-a348-a6496ea93ac0

Hope that helps,

RE: MapPoint Walking Directions
Hi Derek,
THanks for the info.
Do you know if MS plans on catching up with NavTeq Pedestrian data? Seems
to be the new thing.

RE: MapPoint Walking Directions
I don't think so, since Microsoft is moving off to their newer Virtual Earth
(http://www.microsoft.com/virtualearth/) product. Currently this kind of
data doesn't exist for VE nor does it seem like this feature is coming
anytime soon.

Also take a look at local.live.com to see what kind of VE features Microsoft
is looking to invest into.

Regards,
