msmsgs.exe will not shut down
I have unchecked this from my start up. I can stop it from running in the
task manager, but it will start back up. How do I completly keep this file
running?

Re: msmsgs.exe will not shut down
This is NOT MSN Messenger. It is Windows Messenger (the one that comes
inbuilt with XP).

RE: msmsgs.exe will not shut down
Some services depend on Windows Messenger (running on the background) for
working properly. See/read the following Knowledgebase articles on the
Microsoft Support website: KB330117, KB330114, KB327390 and KB307894 to
solved Your problem.

Microsoft Messenger is a service, not a standalone executable.

I don't have MSN messenger installed, but I believe Harry that it is MSN
Messenger.
