Can I instal vista on USB hdd and dual boot form my xp to that?
The virtiual processor that everyone talks about - is that a cyber program or
do you download it onto a free area of any HDD including and external USB HDD?
Will Vista set up a duel boot without skrewing up my XP if I choose custom-
It did not offer me that option when It said Instal now - It was going to
instal over my partition pre-boot for xp and then the only other partition
was 001 which was also XP - not sure why there are a 0 and a 1 partition for
xp in the first place - If you are wondering I do have both vista and xp pro
full versions - i am waiting for 64 bit vista discs to arrive - which brings
me to another question - should i wait until they arrive before setting up my
dual boot or will vista 64 know where to install to?
one more option that im not sure exists . I have 8 gb ram in this ibm laptop
- rescue and recovery gives you option to boot from another device - no
matter how bad you skrew up your computer the rescue and recover screen
always appears - Anyways -(went off topic) - I have a second free Internal
130 GB HDD for this laptop not doing anything -- is there hardware available
to allow you to use two internal HDD drives - the opposite of bottlenecking
if that makes any sense - a splice device (you know the end you add to your
cable to highjack a second connection for another tv)
