Sending an email manually
I want to test sending an email directly using telnet to get to a mail server
and send a message. The reason I am doing this is because my mail server
seems to be getting rejected from a remote email server, and i want to know
why. My understanding is that I need to telnet into the remote mail server
and send a message to that server from mine?
If you understand what I mean by this, I hope I made myself at least a
little clear.
Please let me know what steps I would need to take to accomplish this task?
Thanks so much!!
