Home Networking Problems
I have multiple computers and a couple of wireless laptops that all have
files being shared between them. All the PCs are running Windows XP (home
and Pro) with all the updates installed. The PCs have been able to connect
to each other and share files up until recently. None of the settings or
configurations have been changed but now I am only able to see the internet
and not the other PCs in the Workgroup. The PCs are running Windows Defender
with Firewall enabled. I have even tried to disable the firewall with out
any success. The entire network is via Linksys Switches, Router, Wireless
Access point and a Linksys Print Server. The only thing that I can see that
is slightly different now is the the TCP/IP is stating Version 6 and some of
the other units do not state that. All Units can see the internet but not
each other in the workgroup. I can not even see the printers that are
connected via the Print Server.

Does anyone have any ideas of what could be the problem? I have deleted the
network, disconnected the network and reconfigured the systems with out any
success. Any information that you can provide me is greatly appreciated.
