i am a student plus i have my own business. we just started a class on vista business. on my home desktop i have server 2003 installed. i installed a secondary hard drive to put vista business on. it would not take until i put the secondary hard drive in as the master. after that it installed correctly but did not pick up my server 2003 that is on the second hard drive. is there a way for me to edit the boot loader in vista to see my server 2003 without having to reinstall everything? if anyone has an idea on this please let me know. thanks.
Its highly unlikely to edit the boot loader since that is something that should not be tampered with. What you can do is install Vista onto the same HD as Server 03 and basically use a dual boot. This way you should be able to see both OS's. THe only thing ur prob going to have to do is make another parition on the HD to install it but otherwise it should work.
