WHENEVER I TRY TO INSTALL HP 2015 IT GOES 90% (LOADS SOFTWARE, TELLS ME TO CONNECT PRINTER(usb), FINDS PRINTER, AND THEN LOOKS LIKE IT IS FINISHING WHEN WIZARD COMES BACK WITH CANNOT INSTALL DEVICE. HP DIAGNOSTIC APP COLLECTS ALL DATA SENDS TO HP AND COMES BACK WITH NO SOLUTION TO ERROR. HP TECH SUPPORT HASN'T BEEN MUCH HELP. ANY IDEAS?
If you haven't tried it yet, disconnect the printer then open printer folder in control panel right click on any printers that are there, Choose uninstall. Then go to add/remove Programs click remove on any printer programs showing. Re-start computer, now run installation for HP 2015, instructions should tell you to turn off one more time to hook up printer and restart for installation to finish. I had to do this to install an HP Photosmart 7150. Good luck.
