Hi - anyone encounter a corrupt winsock in a windows 2000 computer before? I'm about ready to reformat and replace it with windows 98 - I was with a tech with my internet company and we figured this out after 20 minutes...any downloads out there?

OK, reboot install Protocol -> TCP/IP into the network card properties. OK, reboot try it. this is reinstalling TCP/IP in any Microsoft OS from 95 to 2000. XP is different, and I don't remember how 2003 does it.
