boot from usb
I am running win xp on a raid 0 and have some programs I woud like to run on
win 98se, is there a way to install win 98 on an external usb drive (or a
flash drive for that matter) and boot to it?

I kind of doubt that.

depends on the computer.

modern Dells can. but I don't think you'd be willing to WAIT the time
it takes to boot (NOR shutdown properly) win98. USB memory sticks used
to have a limited write cycle before they failed completely. running an
OS on one of those sticks CAN make it fail early, if the USB sticks
still have that limitation.
