Increasing available files for Dos prog under XP
I am trying to run a DB4 program under XP which worked fine in W98. In W95/98
the program needed a files="n" command in the config.sys to avoid the error
message "too many files are open". Under Xp the program does run but gives
the error message running certain tasks. I have tried adding a config.sys in
the root of C: Does anyone know if the available files under XP can be
increased and if so how?

Re: Increasing available files for Dos prog under XP
You need to remember that XP does not use DOS. It uses a DOS emulator. It's
time you start looking for a replacement for your program that will run in
XP.
