Can't join the Domain
I have a branch office that I have created a site to site VPN connection
through two firewall/routers. I can ping the servers using IP addresses and
DNS names and can access the servers through Remote connection sessions. I
can't get windows XP Pro in the branch office to join the domain. I get an
error message that The RPC Server is unavailable. The RPC services are
running on the server. I have research this issue and ran netdiag tool and
everything passed. I ran the Dcdiag tool get this one error “Cannot call
DsBind error to computernameDC”. I have change windows XP to use TCP for
Kerberos authentication and still get the same error. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
