If your hardware is working to your satisfaction, then they are optional.
They may likely be more updated versions of the drivers you have currently
installed. I would compare the version of the updated driver on
Microsoft.com with the version installed. Then install the ones you want one
by one, so that if something goes wrong, you can easily troubleshoot which
driver was the problem.
Again, if you hardware is working fine, you may just want to save time and
ignore the updates for your hardware. Just my opinion.
