I am trying to uninstall Mozilla Thunderbird from a Vista Business system, and I am the Admin, but have not found a way to do this. I checked the Thunderbird folder and could not find an uninstall file. I also looked in Control Panel and could not find the historic Add/Remove Software. Could use some direction here. Thank You - Bob Tuttle

Thank You - Bob Tuttle Why you did not select "Programs and Features" from Control Panel? Jan M. Nelken
I found "programs and Features", selected Mozilla Thunderbird, clicked on Uninstall, and only got a quick hourglass. The program did not uninstall. I have rebooted, and it is still there. Any other thoughts? - Bob T "Jan M. Any other thoughts? - Bob T Uninstall from "Programs and Features" would call whatever was registered as Uninstall Program for Thunderbird; if it is missing then Uninstall won't work either. On my Thunderbird there is a subdirectory "uninstall" which contains "helper.exe" - which is an uninstall wizard and "uninstall.log" which contains log of changes made during install. Perhaps you can find another machine with Vista where you can install the same version of Thunderbird into the same location? Then you can copy missing uninstall files to your machine and try to uninstall? Jan M. Nelken
Why not reinstall it and then uninstall it? It should put all files missing back into the right directories. Sounds like you might have accidentally deleted one or more files.
