I have some major copies to make of all my photo and mail files ..... My question is can I do the job on CD or DVD disks ? And what is the difference in the procedure ? Thank you, Dan
It all depends on the size of everything altogether. DVD disks can generally hold around 4.6 gigs of data (around that because I don't have one in front of me) while CD's hold around 700 megs. You can do the job on both and the procedure is pretty much the same. All you need is a cd burner for the cd's or a dvd burner for the dvd's. There are two different kinds of disks when it comes to dvd's though dvd+r or dvd-r. Nowadays though dvd burners can do either one. Dvd-r's are geared more towards storing data from what I've heard but it shouldn't really make a difference. On the plus side, some dvd players read data dvd's and cd's allowing you to view your pictures on a tv. "Dan" wrote: > I have some major copies to make of all my photo and mail files .....
