Vista and MS Office 2003
I have MS Office 2003 and it meets my needs just fine. At least it did on
XP. Excel now doesn't work right in Vista. Half, usually the bottom half,
of the Excel display shows no data or lines (the lines the define the cells).
When you cursor on over to the blank area, the lines and data start showing
up all of a sudden. But if you use page-up or page-down, you end up in blank
screen again and again the data will start showing up as you use the cursor
to move around. Very annoying and time consuming. Are there any patches
etc., to fix this?

Is your video driver current? If you slide down the acceleration does your Excel
data appear okay? If it does it is a sign you need to update the driver.

Re: Vista and MS Office 2003
Mary - I'm not sure what you mean. If I slide down the acceleration (is that
the slider on the side of the screen?) and the Excel data appears OK, then I
wouldn't have a problem, right? If I use the slider to move around the
spreadsheet, the data disappears. The only way I can keep data on the screen
is to use the cursor to move around. Using the slider or the page up/down
function makes the data disappear. I'll see if I can update the video
driver. Thanks.

Re: Vista and MS Office 2003
Control panel, Display, Settings tab, Advanced button, Troubleshoot tab, slide
the acceleration down and test the Excel file.
