Inserted pictures corrupt when sent via Microsoft Mail with VISTA   

I have a DELL Dimension that came with VISTA installed. I do not send many 
pictures, so, I don't know if the all the pictures I sent always arrived 
corrupted, or now they all do. The surrounding text in the emails appears 
normal but the correct picture frames arrive with nothing but an "X" symbol 
in their upper left hand corner. I have been told there is a fix for this. 
Please advise.

Rick,

I have the same problem starting about 2 weeks ago after a block of Vista 
Ultimate updates. AOL tech support advice didn't provide a solution so I've 
tried this route instead. I'm not paying £46 for Microsoft support, so if you 
do get details of a fix, let me know. I can't recover to pre-update 
installation as the backup has gone.
